Job Summary:

Data Collector is responsible to collect proper and accurate data according to project deliverables and scope of the project, conduct research on behalf of the VAC. Data Collector should collect information from individuals’ covering their assigned areas, and responsible to appropriately document and report the results. Data Collector reports to M&E Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Collection of primary data through extensive consultations with female beneficiaries at the village level including interview and meeting with beneficiaries and other stakeholders 

Conducting interviews and collecting according to the questionnaire

Assist M&E staff in various day to day M&E tasks

Keep beneficiary database

Maintain proper hard and soft documentation related to M&E

Use methods such as making phone calls to verify data

Any other tasks assigned

Job Location:

Kabul, with travels to provinces

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years of experience in data collection and M&E 

A bachelor’s degree in social sciences

Proficiency in English, and Pashto and/or Dari is required.
